With still almost two months to go until the Big Night, 26th of May, final of the Eurovision Song Contest in Baku, many devoted fans are already doing research on this year's contestants and even taking the time to go through some of the older acts for nostalgy. After watching about two hundred of these "My Top 100" videos on YouTube I just had to make one of my own, just to see how it would turn out. Here it is! A very brief compilation of nine of my favourite songs, originally supposed to feature the Finnish entry from 1964 as well, Lasse Mårtenson – Laiskotellen. The film material was destroyed in a fire in 1970 but I warmly recommend you listen to it on Spotify.
Today seems to be a somewhat exceptional day. I managed to bake a fairly good-looking tosca cake and a very appealing chocolate cake. Had a wonderful teacher though, but still. I'm also listening to Alicia Keys which I have not done since forever.
